Her areas of expertise include climate change, energy and industry policy. Nikki is notable for her role as a Senior Marketing and Business Development Manager for Shell and Exxon in Africa, Asia and Europe. She serves on a wide variety of international and Australian Boards, along with government and university advisory panels associated with the mining industry including: the Victorian Government’s Hazardous Waste Consultative Committee; the Federal Government’s Industry Advisory Board for Chemicals; and the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation. Her international associations have included the World Energy Council, the Fund Board of the International Baccalaureate Organisation, and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe. Nikki holds a BA (Hons) in Politics and Industrial Relations and a PhD in International Relations in the field of terrorism.
